PMO Performance Machine
One of the most consistent PCA
GT 4R class winners in the country over the past
several years, Gary Boss has won numerous overall
group races against higher-classed cars, including
the new Porsche Cup car. He runs 46mm PMO
carburetors on a short-stroke 2.8 liter motor, often
outperforming higher-horsepower and
electronically-fuel injected cars. In his first race
in 2005, the PCA Mid-Ohio event in May, he won
his class as well as the group overall (which
included 993 Cup cars) with a lead of 17 seconds at
the finish. In July, he had an overall win at the
PCA Gingerman event, winning by over 11 seconds in
a group that included 996 Cup cars and 3.6 liter GT
cars
